Blockchains and Decentralized Finance (35136)

This course provides an information to blockchains and "decentralized finance". We will cover the basics of blockchain consensus, and smart contracts. We will then discuss finance applications built on blockchains, including automated market makers, lending platforms, stablecoins, and "tokenomics", as well as blockchain-related financial institutions such as cryptocurrency exchanges. We will cover a few other applications on blockchains, such as NFTs and DAOs.  
Cannot enroll if BUSN 35135 taken previously: strict.
