Managerial Finance (35010)

The study of finance is divided into two main areas—corporate finance and investments. The aim of this course is to provide you with a sound understanding of the basic tools of corporate financial decision-making along with a good foundation of investments. With these basic tools you should be able to: (a) value potential corporate investment opportunities (capital budgeting decision); (b) understand which securities should be used by firms to finance corporate investment (capital structure decision); (c) understand the risk and return of various investment vehicles and corporate securities.
